• Matching Gifts. Matching gifts maximize your donation. Many companies offer matching gift programs that encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations like VDF. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar -- some even double or triple the amount of your gift! Please check with your company's matching gift program or human resources staff to confirm if your company offers a matching gift program.
  
• Stock or Annuities. Giving long-term (owned more than one year) appreciated securities may provide significant benefits to you and to the Vascular Disease Foundation. You may save current income for day-to-day needs. Gifts of stock do not come out of your cash flow and you may save taxes. Please consult your tax or financial advisor.
  
• Remember the Vascular Disease Foundation in Your Will. Suggested bequest language is: "I [name], of [city, state, ZIP] do hereby give, devise and bequeath to the Vascular Disease Foundation [written amount or percentage of estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use and purpose." Please consult your attorney or financial advisor.
  
• Donate Your Used Vehicle. Through an online vehicle donation program, your unwanted car will be picked up free of charge and you can take a tax deduction as permitted by the law. Click here for more information.
  
• Donate through eBay. If you're an eBay seller, simply list your item on eBay and choose the Vascular Disease Foundation as your charity beneficiary.Then, indicate what percentage of your profit you'd like to contribute. eBay and its partner, Mission Fish, will take care of the rest. Once your buyer pays you, your donation will be made directly to VDF and you'll receive a tax receipt for your donation. If you're an eBay buyer, look for VDF's distinct charity icon when you're shopping. That way you'll know that not only will you purchase the item you want, but you'll support a cause you believe in.
